Early days
Passion gives birth to dreams
In 2007, Zhang Xingang, a graduate of Zhejiang University, completed a cycling tour along the Sichuan-Tibet route from Chengdu to Lhasa. The approximately 2,000-kilometer journey gave him a profound insight into the fascination and challenges of cycling, while also realizing that there was hardly any high-quality, affordable equipment on the market.
To enable more cycling enthusiasts to enjoy affordable cycling equipment, he founded the ROCKBROS brand in Yiwu in 2010 with his university classmate Shi Jianghao. From scratch, they focused on developing high-quality cycling equipment and embarked on their entrepreneurial journey.

The ROCKBROS brand name is a combination of "ROCK" (rock, steadfastness) and "BROS" (brothers, partners). It symbolizes riders who bravely face challenges and are steadfast as rocks, as well as the connection between people through cycling. Global cycling enthusiasts become brothers, exploring the unknown together and overcoming boundaries.
